I'm not sure how directly relevant to PU it is, but I love the scene where Al Pacino slowly sells Jonathon Pryce on a huge deal.

I'm going to watch the Glenngary Glenn Ross clip every morning instead of saying "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough and gosh darn it, people like me!" in the mirror. Great motivational post!

This is so true. I know so many people who are just waiting for "it" to come to them, not realizing that they have to go get "it". There are so many outside opportunities outside of your day job, and inside your day job, to build connections and alliances to achieve your ultimate goals. It's all about aligning yourself with the right people and networks to create your own brand.

This was really interesting, Mike. On the other hand, it does make me glad that I never had to work in sales or marketing because this kind of stuff would be so contrary to my nature that I'd probably have a breakdown within weeks! :)

Another great movie loosely based on Glengarry Glen Ross is Boiler Room, same scenario.... <br><br>"And there is no such thing as a no sale call. A sale is made on every call you make. Either you sell the client some stock or he sells you a reason he can't. Either way a sale is made, the only question is who is gonna close? You or him? Now be relentless, that's it, I'm done."
