The barrier to social marketing in the enterprise will probably be lessen due to the fact that more companies are looking for low cost ways to collaborate then ever, both internally and with customers. I particularly like the way Francois puts it that it'll not just be marketing 2.0. It'll be about CMO, customer support, etc...Great book!

Allan,

Thanks for stopping by. Take your time but don't wait to long. It's crucial we learn from our mistakes. As long as we are willing to accept failure and learn from it, we can progress stronger and further ahead. It's only natural and that's a good thing. I hope you gain some valuable insight from the eBook. If you need any additional pointers, please feel free to contact me anytime AT mikefruchter@gmail.com

Bruce,

Thanks for the comments. It's much appreciated. I'm glad you enjoyed my insights on the eBook. Social media is exactly that, a party. It's a great comparison to a real life party, because the same rules apply, only in a visible human form as opposed to a keyboard. Social media by definition is a two-way form of communication. That's what a lot of companies are failing to realize. They fail to implement the social part. When the five C's come together it drives and defines a successful party/marketing campaign. When one of the elements are missing the results are subpar. Feel free to drop me an email if you like, mikefruchter@gmail.com. I would love to continue this further. Have a great weekend.

Mike

It is not less than a craze for me to dive in social marketing sea in 2009 because I couldn't focus on that in 2008. Perhaps we learn from our previous mistakes. I have downloaded this book and in 2009, I am going to do such stuff from core of my heart.

This ebook has been very enlightening.
I believe that your comments on the Five C's helped me to clarify my understanding of social experiences better than other thought pieces I have reviewed.
I study traditional party activity, and your five C's demonstrate my vision that parties become stronger social experiences when a unifying activity is introduced. Conversation, community, commenting, collaboration and contribution all come together when a host gathers the guest together for a party game or activity. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on this phenomenon.
